Report & Gallery on Fifth Graduation Day, August 13, 2013
The Fifth Graduation Day was held on 13th
August 2013, for the passed students of 2013 at the open auditorium. The
function commenced with Academic Procession walking into the auditorium, with
the conventional tune played at the background. Dr.Udaya Kumar Susarla the
Principal of Geethanajali College of Engineering and Technology addressed the gathering
and gave a report on the institute’s performance highlighting the achievements
of the students during the last academic year. The man behind the motto
Mr.G.R.Ravinder Reddy, Secretary of our esteemed institution declared the Convocation Open.
The Chief Guest of the day, Shree A.Sreenivasa
Murthy, The Chief Technology Officer,Tech Mahendra made his Convocation address
with an inspiring sloka from the epic BHAGAVATHGEETHA and spoke about the
skills that laid a path for their success. He blessed all the students who got
placed in various reputed companies and he said they are the great brand
ambassadors’ of the college.
The Chief Guest Shree A.Sreenivasa Murthy awarded
the degrees to all the graduated students of 2013 accompanied by Principal and
Mr.G.R.Ravinder Reddy. The Chief Guest also presented Gold Medals as a special
award of merit to the "toppers of every branch" and he appreciated the University
topper Naga Sravya and her parents for their endless effort.
After the award of the degrees all the Dignitaries
on the dais, Academic Procession, students, took the pledge to be honest in the
charge of their duties and to prove the cause of their importance to
India.
Mr.G.R.Ravinder Reddy declared the Convocation
ceremony closed followed by the National Anthem. The Academic Procession walked
off the auditorium as the band followed.
