Report on Orientation Day 2013
The B.Tech 1st year INDUCTION PROGRAMME at
GCET, Cheeryal, Keesara was successfully conducted on 23.09.2013 under the able
guidance of the Secretary and Principal. Sri.Y Srinivas had graced the occasion
by being the chief guest and Sri.P.Venkata Rami Reddy was kind enough to be the
guest of honor.
The
programme started with the pertinent address by Dr.Udaya Kumar Susarla, the
Principal. The unveiling of student handbook & Parent’s Guide was also part
of the programme which was wheel appreciated by one and all present during the
occasion. Each of the Heads of Departments of E.C.E, C.S.E, I.T, E.E.E, MECH
and S&H were duly introduced followed by the very edifying address by Sri. Mr.G.R.Ravinder
Reddy, the Secretary.
The
address by the Chief Guest Sri.Y Srinivas Garu was one which everyone will
evoke throughout one’s life. Sri.P.Venkata Rami Reddy Garu too rendered a very
inspiring address on the occasion. Parent’s interaction was a very remarkable
component of the program, the poem on the institution being the highlight.
Alumnus interaction was also very informative and inspiring to the new entrants
as well as parents. As a gesture of gratitude the guest were presented mementos As usual the programme concluded with vote of thanks, announcements
and National Anthem.
