Traditional Day
The word tradition comes from the Latin
word traditionem, which means “handing over, passing on”, and is used in a
number of ways in the English language.
Tradition may be the beliefs or customs
taught by one generation to the next or a set of customs or practices, often
orally. Tradition may also mean a broad religious movement made up of religious
denominations that have a common history, customs, culture, and, to some
extent, body of teachings.
Geethanjali College has educated students
irrespective of caste, creed, religion and sex; it houses students from the
various parts of the world. Traditional day is an opportunity to witness the
diverse traditions followed by our friends – usually outward appearance.
Many students coming from different regions
of our country took active part in this event. And the event is followed by the
he cultural programmed and dances, Finally Miss.Geethanjali and Mr.Geethanjali who showcased the culture were declared the
Tradition.
This was followed by cultural and
entertainment programmes. Students performed on a blend of western and eastern
numbers. And our secretary Mr.G.R.Ravinder Reddy sir gave vote of thank.
